Thanks for your effort in getting Dick Allen some press for HOF. I liked him early in my life as a fan and later when he rejoined the Phillies in 1978, even though it was the end of his career, it was exciting to have Schmidt, Allen, and Luzinski in the middle of the lineup!
Even though your campaign efforts this time fell one vote short, many professional baseball players have been quoted as saying that Dick Allen deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame. And look how long it took Gil Hodges to finally get there. I believe Dick Allen will eventually have his day. To quote YOU, “keep swinging” and keep the faith!
